La Nation council is again hoping for some federal funding to help with the cost of the new sports complex in Limoges.
The approximately $13.7 million project is going to tender this month.
Previous efforts to secure federal and provincial funding have been unsuccessful.
This time though, recreation coordinator Carol Ann Scott says the proposal meets many of the loan application criteria.
Those include being “shovel ready,”
The new complex in Limoges is to include two indoor soccer fields, an indoor walking track, and a community hall.
The township hopes to have construction completed in 2022.
