St-Isidore’s Valérie Grenier raced to the top of the podium, winning the gold medal in Saturday’s FIS Alpine Skiing Women’s World Cup Giant Slalom in Slovenia.
Grenier led after the first run and also posted the fastest time in the second run.
In her 90th World Cup start, it was Grenier’s first podium
“It feels amazing! I’ve wanted this day for so long, it’s a dream come true,” said a beaming Grenier.
