There were over six hundred Terry Fox Runs across the country yesterday, including several in our region including Embrun, Chute A Blondeau-Hawkesbury, and in Rockland.
A large group of residents took part at the Alain Potvin Park. In speaking with the organizers, to date as of Monday September 15, $12,442 was raised with online donations alone.
Organizers still need to tabulate t-shirt sales, and monetary donations. They are confident the total will be $13,000.
