The first phase of the Trillium Landing residential project in Alexandria will soon begin on McDougald Street, north of Glengarry High School.
Alcore Homes will eventually build 44 townhomes, 16 of which will be in the initial phase, some with basement units to increase density.
The project includes roads, municipal services and a stormwater management basin. The proponent has received approval from municipal and regional engineers. However, concerns remain among citizens about the lack of parking and traffic in the area.
