The Township of South Stormont has appointed David Barrick as its next Chief Administrative Officer. He will take up his position as deputy chief executive on November 3, before succeeding Debi Lucas when he retires on December 31. He is a former Chief Administrative Officer of the Municipalities of Thames Centre and Barrick, has also held leadership positions in Brampton and was elected in Port Colborne. The board selected him following a recruitment process conducted by an external firm.
