The holiday season brings back several collections and mutual aid campaigns to the region. In Vankleek Hill, the Food Counter’s Christmas Hamper Program is accepting registration until November 15 and donations at the November 22 drive at Foodland. In Alexandria, the Fill-the-Cruiser collection begins on November 15 at the Independent. Donations continue until December 10, with delivery of the baskets on the 18th. And in L’Orignal, firefighters, the Knights of Columbus and the food bank will hold their blood drive on November 30 and December 1, with deposits accepted until December 17.
