Ontario is creating a $10 million program to help municipalities with fewer than 10,000 residents repair potholes, which are costly for motorists. Cities will be able to receive up to $38,000 for work carried out between April 2025 and March 2026. In the region, East Hawkesbury, Casselman and Champlain are eligible. This funding could ease the pressure on tight municipal budgets.
