The reconstruction of County Road 22 in SDG will cost about $8 million. To fully finance the project, the council will use three reserves, completely emptying two of them. The use of the road surplus will depend on winter expenditures. The project, 6.25 km long between Highway 138 and Maxville, required a ditch relocation and the use of gravel instead of dirt, resulting in a $690,000 overrun but improving drainage.
