No Deal But Mentorship For Clarence-Rockland Couple

By Derrick Scott Nov 28, 2025 | 7:46 AM

Clarence-Rockland couple Stacey Laviolette and Keith Lanctot the co-inventors of my Friend Toothy didn’t get the deal they were hoping for from the Dragon’s on CBC’s Dragon’s Den last night, but did not go away completely empty handed.

Dragon Arlene Dickinson agreed to be the couple’s mentor, helping them grow their Toothy brand, without having to give away any equity in their company.

At the viewing party, through ticket sales, and a portion of food and drinks sold at Broadway Bar & Grill, plus a matched offer from Stacey & Keith, $1650.00 in Toothy Kits that will be donated to Valoris.

Laviolette, Lanctot, and Dickinson will start working together in the New Year.  What’s next for My Friend Toothy, Laviolette said at last night’s Viewing Party at Broadway Bar & Grill Rockland. “Toothy TV on Netflix.”  The couple plan an English and French television series.
