By Derrick Scott Dec 1, 2025 | 6:17 AM

Hawkesbury needs to replace the roof of its fire hall, but the project will cost $126,000 more than expected. The board awarded the contract to Raymond Roofing for $425,000. The work, deemed necessary due to low-quality construction dating from 25 years ago, will be carried out in 2026, with additional funds included in the 2026 budget. The council unanimously adopted the resolution.
