A resident of 810 Portelance Street in Hawkesbury claims to have been the victim of a theft in his apartment a few days after the fire that affected the building.
His cameras reportedly captured a person entering his home around 2 a.m., taking away jewelry, a cell phone, an Xbox and other items.
The OPP confirms that a break and enter complaint has been filed in a unit that was not affected by the fire. The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
