30somethings Soon It Will Be Your Chance As Cases Are Up In Our Area

Ontario is expected to lower the minimum age for COVID-19 vaccine eligibility across the province this week. It’s due to open vaccine appointments to people as young as 30.

 

The government has yet to say which day it will make that change.It’s aiming to open appointments to all adults starting next week.

 

In an update Friday afternoon, the Eastern Ontario Health Unit reported 23 new cases. Three of the new cases are in Clarence Rockland, there is one new case in Hawkesbury

 

Across the region, the health unit reported 11 people in hospital, an increase of 2 patients, though the number within intensive/critical care units remained stable at five.

 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Eastern Ontario health Unit has reported 103 deaths due to covid 19.
