Alfred-Plantagenet’s municipal budget provides for investments of $7.7 million in capital projects in 2026. Two main projects account for more than half of this amount: the new fire station and ambulance station in Alfred for just over $2 million and the development of water and electricity infrastructure in the Wendover business park for $2.8 million to attract investors. The rest of the amount is taken up by road and road works.
