The Plantagenet Lagoon Expansion Project reaches an important milestone with the approval of the design contract. JP2G Consultants Inc was retained to carry out the plans, offering the most competitive price. The project design will be finalized this year in order to begin construction in the spring of 2027. City Council emphasizes the importance of this project to the community and the local economy. The project will serve an additional 600 households. The provincial government will contribute $13.8 million.
