Clarence-Rockland and beyond rallied around a brave little girl and her family over the weekend at the Clarence Creek Arena.
The Optimist Club of Clarence Creek hosted a fundraiser spaghetti supper for Sweet Livia, an adorable little girl who is battling cancer.
The event raised $5,500.00 for care, treatment, and transportation needs for Livia and her family.
BIG-FM provided thousands of dollar in free publicity for this fundraiser.
“The station, and company, who also operates 92.1 GO-FM, our foundation is about supporting local, local businesses and especially local charities events. When it comes to family and children, the station will do as much as we can to help out.” said Operations Manager Derrick Scott.
Charity events receive more exposure from BIG-FM compared to other media outlets, including a series of no charge BIG Event commercials, and event listing on our websites (both 92.5 BIG-FM and 107.7 BIG-FM) with thousands of monthly visitors, plus multiple showcase posts on social media.
