The Prescott and Russell Development Corporation is considering a revival of the historic site of Caledonia Springs, in the Township of Alfred-Plantagenet. The project, still in its infancy, would represent an investment of about $100 million and would focus on natural springs, premium water bottling and a world-class spa.
The project was presented to the United Counties Council and aims to attract investors and partners.
Several attempts to revive it have failed in the past, despite the strong potential of the site having closed its doors in 1915.
