The mayor of The Nation, Francis Brière, has confirmed that he will be a candidate for a second term in the municipal elections in October. He wishes to complete several projects initiated during his first term and continue to work with the council, the administration and community partners. He says he has gained a better understanding of how the municipality works and says he wants to prioritize the growth of the municipality, particularly economic development.
