Firefighters in Hawkesbury were dispatched to a local fast-food restaurant Wednesday afternoon. According to posts circulating on social media, crews responded to the McDonald’s located at the intersection of Cameron Street and Highway 17 on February 11.

By Thursday, February 12, the restaurant remained closed to customers. Staff were seen inside cleaning as they prepared the location to reopen.
