A report on homelessness in Prescott-Russell indicates that in February 2026, 132 households were experiencing homelessness, a 4% decrease compared to the previous month. Among them, there are 87 adults, 31 families and 14 young people. About 52% are considered chronically homeless and face mental health issues. The majority are temporarily staying with relatives and 60% of cases are in Hawkesbury. Eight households gained access to permanent housing and 15 received financial assistance to avoid losing their housing.
