The Main Street reconstruction project in Vankleek Hill is progressing as planned. The Municipality of Champlain is issuing a call for tenders for engineering studies and plans, with a deadline of April 22. The work will include the road, sidewalks, parking lots, and water and sewer systems. The project, estimated at between $4 million and $5 million, would cover 1.8 km. Work is scheduled to begin in early 2027.
