A threatening gesture was made Wednesday by a member of the public at a meeting of Dundas South council, after a vote on a zoning change. The session was briefly suspended and the OPP intervened to assess the situation and keep the peace. No charges have been laid or arrests made. The municipality denounced unacceptable behaviour and reiterated that intimidation of elected officials, staff and the public will not be tolerated.
