Ontario is providing more than $2.8 million to Prescott-Russell this year to provide up to 7,350 people with access to primary care. The Centre de santé communautaire de l’Estrie will lead the initiative with several regional partners, including the Clarence-Rockland and Plantagenet family health teams, as well as community paramedics. The priority will be to reduce the waiting list for Care Connect Ontario. Residents without a family doctor are invited to register online rather than contacting the clinics directly.
