The organization that manages the Prescott and Russell Recreational Trail is concerned about the impacts of the ALTO high-speed rail project. Its general manager, Eric Collard, fears that the final route will expropriate portions of the 72-km trail, which has become a major regional tourism and economic driver. The UCPR says it wants more concrete information on the possible impacts.
