BIG-FM, and it’s sister station 92.1 GO-FM hosted a send off for The Rockland Nationals on Saturday at The Clarence-Rockland Arena. A few hundred fans, and residents stopped by to wish the team well at the Centennial Cup taking place in Prince Edward Island.
Attendees had an opportunity to meet all the players, see and get pictures taken with team members, and the Bogart Cup, which the team won two years in a row.
The team’s first game is next Thursday, and BIG-FM, and GO-FM will provide scores as they become available.

The radio stations, have teamed up together, branding their events as GO BIG, have put together other initiatives including a special 5@7 for all business owners in the community. Monday May 11, and Monday May 25, the stations will host Celebrity Server Nights at Boston Pizza Rockland to raise funds for Penny Lane Farm Sanctuary, a Saint Pascal Baylon rescue that is having financial difficulties.
