SDG’s United Counties Transportation Department is kicking off its summer maintenance work. Several roads will receive new central lines in 2026, as part of a contract worth more than $565,000. Weed spraying will also take place in priority areas. SDG will also purchase four new mowers, at a cost of just over $129,000, to improve roadside maintenance.
