Russell and The Nation have launched an environmental study for a regional wastewater treatment plant project that would serve Embrun, Russell and Limoges. The project aims to replace, in the long term, the current lagoon systems, which are considered insufficient in the face of the expected growth. The study will evaluate potential locations and concepts to limit impacts. Two public information sessions are planned to gather feedback from citizens.
