The Town of Hawkesbury is asking people heading to next week’s Multicultural Festival to support local businesses instead of looking for food trucks. Some people questioned on social media why there won’t be food trucks on Main Street, but the town says one of the festival’s main goals is to bring more customers into the downtown restaurants and shops. Main Street will be closed from Race Street to William Street from June 26th to the 28th for the event. The Hawkesbury Hawks will also be running the bar and hot dog stand at the festival to help raise money for the team.
