Champlain Township has unanimously approved the development of an outdoor asphalt shingle recycling depot on County Road 17 near Ivaco Rolling Mills. The shingles will be shredded, sorted and stored before being transported to another facility to be transformed into reusable materials. No buildings will be built on the 2.1-hectare site.
The project complies with the development policies applicable to the industrial sector.
