Members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal three-vehicle collision in South Glengarry Township that resulted in three fatalities.
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, just after 9:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of a three-vehicle collision on County Road 17 near County Road 27, South Glengarry Township.
Three individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene, including a 61-year-old driver from South Glengarry, a 54-year-old passenger from South Glengarry, and an 18-year-old driver from North Glengarry. The occupants of a third vehicle were transported to hospital for assessment.
County Road 17 remains closed in both directions between County Road 27 and Fairview Road.
Members of SD&G OPP are continuing the investigation with support from the OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.
