OPP officers from Hawkesbury Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Nelson Street, in the town of Hawkesbury.
On October 19, 2026, shortly after midnight, during the investigation, the officers seized 450 suspected methamphetamine pills, 10 suspected hydromorphone pills, 2.6 g of suspected crack cocaine and cash.
Following the investigation, Valerie GUERIN, age 42 from Hawkesbury was charged with the following offences:
• Poss of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
• Poss of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
• Poss of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid (other than heroin)
• Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada
• Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
The accused was released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on January 6, 2027, at the L’Orignal courthouse.
